It's just the fact that conditions change to fast for it to be useful & your really going to need a lot of people reporting conditions for it to be of any use.
I spose a bad report might save someone driving to a dive location an hour after it's made, but it ain't gonna be useful for the next day. The more you understand how the weather affects the water it's going to save you jumping in and finding out it was a waste of time.
