Broom handle with a few nails but a decent broom will set you back a bit more than that.

I've been running an Ocean Hunter for a bit now, mainly because i'm on the cheap and can't afford anything better for now. I've had some mild success and paid about $150 for it, that's bottom range model, it's soon due for an upgrade since i've come into some cash, and a good one is looking about the 400-500 mark.

Don't go with the Seak or whatever from Anaconda, mate had one and the shot engine broke after the fourth dive.

Perhaps, maybe, if your lucky and look hard you could find something nasty on gumtree or ebay

I got my gun off Brett on here about a year ago now, think it was $120 give or take, Cressi Gun with a Rob Allen shaft, its an awesome gun! For me anyway, might not be the latest and greatest. I got all of my gear second hand and have saved a bundle, we cant all work at a dive shop or have mates to get us great discounts. As long as it gets you fish and works well for you then go for it!

Below $100 will be pushing it though, but you can score some awesome deals if you give yourself another $100 to work with.

Rhys
