Has anyone seen the doco 'shark water'? It has a replay of the 1960's navy doco on how to deal with sharks. Stuff like putting your head under the water and yelling, slapping the water, and ripping up paper and throwing it in the water (scares them off apparently haha).

Seeing a bunch of shark-surrounded swimmers furiously ripping up paper would be quite a laugh

Too funny Tim... Someone’s got too much time to spare!!! The tearing up paper technique... just make sure you have some dry paper preferably in a watertight bag or container in your safety gear, I am surprised spear safe didn’t promote that in the new DVD!!
