Just bought myself a HX and part of the deal was I flog the VS! Used it for work/diving, I love it and said I'd never sell it but the rumble of an 8 is hard to pass up! It's a standard 6 cylinder wagon, 6 seater, running gears really good and the bodies pretty good too. Only really looking to recoup what the HX has put me out, maybe can do a roadworty with it but have to check first. Think it just needs brakes and tyres?

I had a HX van about 20 years ago. It was the ultimate dive vehicle. went anywhere, could sleep in the back and load the absolute crap out of it. They sure don't make them like they used to. Is it a 186 red?

You just can't kill the red motors. Ive got a mate that runs them on woodgas and connects them up to generators. After the fires went through a couple years ago all he had to do was replace the plastic bits that melted of like wires and the distributor and the bloody thing ran like nothing happened.
