Saw in the guide that one of he's movies was on, was wrapped, watched it, got to the end, and it said it was in tribute to him... I was bloody shattered. He and Ably and Steve were my idol growing up as well. If I have a dream it would be to live that lifestyle. Somehow I ended up writing computer code for a living, but I'm not giving up yet!

One of my childhood heroes also. What a fun bloke. If I have kids and they're boys (or twins) they will be called "Malcolm" and "Douglas". Was looking for his doco's about two years ago. He's made so many. Legendary. I do what I do partly as an inspiration from him. Had a big impact on me. RIP Mr. Douglas.
