what about dacron or jinkai monofilament i do alot of gamefishing thought u might beable to use these yes or no

I don't know about dacron but if Jinkai comes in 400lb then it should be OK

Myself and Blinky are using 350lb jinkai, a lot softer than standard black shoot line, but find it go's through muzzle a lot better and doesn't jamb the crimp up, heaps cheaper to replace, I've had mine on for nearly 6 months, no wear at all, just check crimp's prior to dives and replace when necessary and you should be fine, 350lb is more than enough for general spearfishing unless you get into some big king's that are going to drag your tackle through the rock's.
