Haven't done and have no idea,
However, heading over with BJ976 is November though - if you find anything it would be good to know.

We got the impression that it was all scuba, and not a whole lot of freediving. That said, its easy enough to get some hits online
i.e. http://www.blueplanetdivers.net/freediving.htm

Plus, apparently no spesh gear to rent or buy, especially for spearin, so we're sending it all over in advance.

No worries Wess ill do a search!!

Yeah I have looked into it on the net and there seems to be mixed reports about some of the places that offer free diving courses... "some good, some bad". I thought I would post on here, it's always good to here reports straight from someone who has experienced it..

Ill let you no how I go or if I end up diving over there!!

Hey all I just returned from Thailand
Had a great trip and managed to get some diving in thanks to Charlie!! I sent him a few emails and we met up and headed out on his boat was a great day, however I was not spearing at my best still managed to spear a fish so I'm happy with that, Charlie came away with a nice catch.. Some pictures attached

Was a great day if your ever over that way I highly recommend a dive with Charlie!
Cheers again mate! If your down here id be happy to return the favor!!
