Recent dive, water 11degrees. Vis patchy 6m in some areas 10m in others. Covered a lot of area and spent a lot of time swimming against currents. Looked high and low for any signs of squid/eggs but no luck. Last half hour worked a new ledge and ended up with some nice sized fish just under a kilo.

Went down to Williamstown for a dive this morning with Alan M,
Got in the water about 9am and was out by 10:30am, the water was freezing but still good to get in the water, Vis was hazy about 2-4metres nothing seen except this one snapper!
measured 66cm and 4kg!
Still a bit cold for fish up this far but was definitely worth going in today!

Great fish - it was a nice dive. I was thinking it would be pretty murky and bad terrain so close to the city but the water was clear and whole area looked great.

What do you mean Cdog? Is the Vic challenge starting early this year... calender stats it start in september. I've eaten two good fish and a cray!
