Seasons still going for Vic Challenge! - Take away the 10 points from Watto ;)

I did look at it a couple of months ago but I would never get a kingy (no boat) and never dived for crays (we don't eat them) or like squid (yuck!) so erm, that doesn't leave much else for points!

Plus Watto needs all the points he can get this year ;)

Dived on Saturday. Small pinkies around when i started burleying. Found a large tail thinking it was a stingray, poked it and it was a flatty! - Swam about a metre away and i took a point blank shot and....missed. Must have just clipped it because it went ballistic, so i quickly grabbed my knife and stabbed it in the head. Delicious!

8m visibility too was nice..

Tried to dive back beaches Sunday but the southerlies were kicking up a cloudy mess. Vis 2-5m. Front beaches and a nice school of mullet rolled on by. These are great BBQ'd whole. Also found treasure, Iphone 6+, which I now have sitting in a container of rice.

Water was cold very few fish, managed to burly up a pinkie and scare a couple cutas.
the Pike was half the size of the cutas sadly i couldn't close enough for any shots.

I think you need to keep the positions of the action figures you own PG rated, Geoff. I don't like that Chewy is getting more action than i am at the moment.

P.S Good fish, but leave some for me

Portsea on Saturday 16th with Geoff.

Conditions were good with 5-6m vis. There wasn't a whole lot of fish life around but we managed to get a cuttle fish, a good sized garfish and one leatherjacket.

Disappointing dive nothing decent around. Temp 11 degrees. Vis great in close 10m+ on the way out, but out wider pretty cloudy 4-5m and hard to make out size of fish looking down. After my first two fish being sml tried to be selective but all were the same size if not smaller so called it a day.
