There will be no anchored comp this weekend the SFD committee instead have decided to hold our sfd xmas party on sunday 10th Dec. Location to be decided upon, but somewhere around the mornington peninsula area between Flinders and Sorrento.
There will be a social dive before hand that starts at 8:30am. The actual Xmas party starts at 12:30pm.

Food & softdrink provided. Barbecue food, spit & salads, etc.
BYO alcohol.

For catering purposes could you please let us know asap if you are attending plus how many people you are bringing.
Everyone welcome including family and friends.

Hi All,

The location of the Southern Freedivers Christmas party will be at Flinders this coming Sunday (10th December).
For those that would like to social dive in the morning with the group, please meet at the car park at 8:30am.

The BBQ will commence around 12:30 at the picnic tables next to the car park. Look for the Southern Freedivers banner!

Everyone is welcome to come and have a social dive and/or BBQ!

Today was the sfd xmas party. We had a total of 30 attend which consisted of 18 members and their families.
Those keen to have a dive got in the water around 9am. We had 13 members try their luck with some great flat conditions with excellent vis in most areas. Myself, Tim and Kaylah all got a flattie each. With a couple of the larger models weighing 1.2kg and 0.915kg.
There was plenty of food with margaret providing 30 home made burgers and plenty of snags and salad to go round.

Kaylah was awarded fish of the day for shooting her first flathead and received a large Toblerone bar.
Matt Goldens daughter Elizabeth was stoked to win the Jelly Bean jar and a Toblerone bar for being the closest to guessing the number of Jelly Beans she guessed 610 just 4 off the magic number.
Everyone had a great day
Thanks to margaret again for making the burgers. Stoj for helping out with the cooking and Carly who made the salads and helped with the lolly bags.

Thanks for everyone that attended.
On behalf of the SFD committee i wish everyone a safe and Happy Christmas.
