Hi everyone, could you guys please go to my new Facebook page 'Destination Blue' and like it for us. Shane Harrison, Danny Hendricks and myself have been granted a broadcasting licence to air our new TV show Destination Blue which will air on the 2nd January 2014 at 9:00pm on channel 31. Destination Blue is a similar model to Spearing the Menu.

Cheers and thanks!

spearing the menu is how I discovered spear fishing. I'd known about it but never really seen it before. Slowly but surely I've got the required gear and have now entered a few competitions! I'm not on facebook but I shall be watching tv on January 2 at 9pm on channel 31 that's for sure.

Thanks guys, we are feeling the love BIG TIME at the moment and hope it continues! Spearing the menu are big shoes for us to fill and we hope we come close to their standard, as the STM series was legendary here in Vic.

Once again, thanks for the support!!

Can't wait Clint!

Had a good conversation with Paul D up at saltwater creek about STM. And if I correctly paraphrase, the most popular STM episode was the one where they go hunting for rock flathead in ppb. Which I find interesting becuause they do go catch bigger / better fish in the series.

My two cents about fishing shows is that, anyone can go up north, drop a hook down on a reef a pick up big tropical fish. But I'm more interested in watching fishing shows that show me more about the fishing in my vic backyard. That's why my favorite fishing show has been you fish tv, because they catch the best fish in victoria with varied techniques. And the crux is that they don't just show what you can catch but how. That gets me off the couch and out fishing trying different things.

If your show has clips of dream fish for spearos but tips / techs for spearos and particularly newbies, I reckon you're in the money!

How come you guys decided to make this? E.g. what things happened that led you to decide to put this show together?

Cheers.
