Unfortunately this election is a choice between two extremes which are bad for fishers. Not one coalition member voted for the moratorium on the super trawler, it's pretty much a given that the Libs will let it rape our waters.
The super trawler will have an effect on something I target (Kingfish), the marine reserve will effect a couple of places I dream about going one day.
If I was to vote purely on fishing issues and how they will effect me I would vote labor as the marine reserves are all in commonwealth waters. My little inflatable doesn't get me to commonwealth waters.

At least if we stop the MP lock outs we can rally again??

Burke green lighted the super trawler years before we got wind of it but due to power of the people it was over turned.

My vote only depends on fishing, none of the welfare hand outs attract me.
