From what I read she had trouble with her buoyancy before disappearing - a more sensible story would be she sank to the bottom and got nibbled after dying from other causes. Doesn't sell as many papers though

The problem with finding out what happened is people with only half a clue (cops) feed the info to people with no clue (journos) who then give us their muddled version of facts.

Seems a bit sensationalist to me.

Quote:
"Other local divers, however, have reported encounters with Great White Sharks at the Ships Graveyard, where Ms Lee was last seen."

Notice how it doesn't say when....

Its a sad situation which I think is only being exacerbated by these potentially misleading reports.

What was shit about the spot? Specifically, do you mean poor vis so the shark couldn't make out the diver from a seal, or just a well known shark spot?

Cheers

Nothing shit about the spot. He means the dive buddy probably should of been helping out more, especially (after reading the first article) he knew she was having problems on accent. But who knows, he may of already helped and thought everything was OK.

I reckon she sank and the bottom feeders got to here, couple of 7 gillers and 9kg lobbys..

Sad news though.
