I mostly dive with 7mm wetsuit during cold water. (its very bouyancy wetsuit) i have noticed the salinity do vary from one area to another. One time dived at Willie. i had vest weight and weight belt. i descented easily. Dive at Sorrento I had difficulty to descent down. by putting more weight. Then another time i dived at Mt Martha with same weight ratio as Sorrento-Portsea. I had difficulty staying up choppy waves keep dragging me down. so i swam to shore took my vest off left vest on rock. Does anyone notice salinity and bouyancy in water do vary in some areas and different times/days?

Haven't noticed, depth is the main changing factor.
