Hi All,
just over 1 week ago Jody Fisher from Melbourne/Adelaide broke 3 Australian freediving records in the disciplines of Dynamic Apnea(DYN) and Dynamic no fins(DNF). Dynamic is distance swum in a pool underwater on one breath, Dynamic no fins is the same done using a type of breast-stroke. Jody first swum 112m DNF to set her first record, 30min later she did 125m DYN, and finally 132m DNF. Jody used to be a competitive swimmer when she was younger and it certainly shows, she has great streamlining and swimming technique. Below are some articles on other websites and a youtube clip of the 132m swim.

Congrats Jody !

Awesome work Jody, I don't feel so bad about being not able to keep up with you during the course now  .

Aha, thanks guys, well you can see I went further no fins than with fins, if only a bit... though I have to say it felt a heck of a lot easier with the fin! Just for interest sake the 132 (no fins) took 2:38, the 125 (with fins) was 1:48 :)
