kiwi_scott; was that a link to an actual testimonial from the diver who got taken (Ron Clarkson)? 'Reason I ask is that when I tried to follow that link it just goes to a largely blank page on the Shark Shield website -> 'reckon they deleted his testimonial?

Kinda poor form if so. A better way to deal with this situation would be to admit that the Shark Shield is not infallible and commit to figuring out how to make it so (e.g. perhaps by boosting the strength of the deterrent signal emitted from the Shark Shield unit).
