VICTORIAN SPEARFISHING CHALLENGE RULES AND CONDITIONS
*Entry is free; however competitors must be current financial members of the Southern Freedivers.
*Competition is from the 7th September 2011 to the 6th June 2012 which coincides with the Southern Freedivers club competition season.
*The ten eligible species and their minimum weights are:
King George Whiting and Silver Trevally - 340 grams
Flathead, Sweep, Squid, Australian Salmon, Snook and Snapper - 400 grams
Crayfish (hand captured) - 1000 grams
Kingfish - 3000 grams
*Fish are to be taken from Victorian waters only, observing all current Southern Freedivers and Fisheries Victoria laws and only taken whilst freediving.
*Fish must be weighed (fresh or frozen) at club meetings (prearranged with weigh masters), other club run competitions or at these designated weigh-in points:

*Vic Challenge application forms are the responsibility of the competitor and must be submitted within 30 days of capture. Application forms can be submitted through the forum by attaching them to a PM to 'VictorianChallenge', this is the preferred submission method. Application forms can also be submitted at club meetings. All application forms MUST be fully completed and correct.
*Heaviest fish of each of the ten species receives ten points, second heaviest nine and so on (Maximum possible points-100). A maximum of two weigh-ins per species is permitted.
